About the Author

Dani Knight (she/they) is a Chicago based illustrator with over a decade of experience, including several years of in-house illustration work. Her illustration practice incorporates eye-catching character design, expressive color palettes, and playful hand lettering. Dani draws creative inspiration from a variety of sources such as vintage children’s books, speculative fiction, history, pop culture of the 90s and early 00s, and the natural world. These influences combine to create an illustration style that feels both nostalgic and fresh, and that leaves a lasting impression.
