Support Womanly
Womanly addresses health disparities along racial and gender lines in the U.S. by providing evidence and arts-based, culturally inclusive, health education.
Womanly is fiscally sponsored by The Field, a 501(c)(3). Help us use the power of art to educate and prevent disease. Every 100% tax-deductible donation goes towards building health programs for those who need it most.
Our Impact
Womanly delivers essential health education through innovative, evidence-based, arts-driven interventions such as documentary films, digital and in-person workshops, billboard campaigns, and printed materials.
Our collaborative model brings together local artists, health experts, and community members to develop materials on key issues such as Black maternal health, sexual health, and food access. By centering these voices, we build trust and foster community ownership over the work we produce.
-
Womanly has served over 500,000 individuals through our digital and in-person interventions.
We’ve donated over 12,000 copies of our educational arts-based print publication to communities of color across NYC, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. -
Womanly regularly hosts engaging events such as workshops, panels, art activations, and story slams that highlight our diverse community of artists, authors, and healthcare professionals.
Our community events bring greater understanding and awareness to the health care issues facing our community and beyond.
-
Womanly launched powerful billboard campaigns on high blood pressure prevention and breast cancer awareness in underserved neighborhoods across New York City and Baltimore.
