Eye Mama Project: “The Mama Gaze” is a global photography portfolio, launched on Instagram in 2021, capturing the truths and dualities of motherhood and caregiving. It offers an intimate, diverse, and inclusive portrayal of both the light and dark sides of motherhood, highlighting personal stories such as IVF, abortion, miscarriage, single parenting, adoption, and fostering. With over 70,000 submissions from 60+ countries, the project includes an open call, a jury, and the EYE MAMA BOOK.
Eye mama has been featured in many publications including Vogue, National Geographic, The Guardian and more. It has won several awards, including the Anthem Lovie and Webby Awards, for social diversity and inclusion, and the Lucie Photo Book Award 2024.
